Important: aeroTAP Evo 9 is the latest generation of aeroTAP evo. Use aeroTAP evo 8 only if compatibility with legacy aeroTAP software or existing systems is required.

END USER LICENSE AGREEMENT

DEFINITIONS

The following definitions apply to the terms and conditions included in this Agreement.

aeroTAP
means a software, developed by nextEDGE Technology K.K., for user interface using Webcam to operate computers.

software
means areroTAP, all program and information files and other documentation which are part of the aeroTAP Software package.

Individual
means a particular person.


TERMS OF AGREEMENT

This is a legal agreement between you, the users, and nextEDGE Technology K.K.. By installing or using this Software, you agree to be bound by the terms of this agreement. If you do not agree to those terms, you may not use or install the Software.

You are entitled to use the Software on all personal computers (laptops/desktops). "Use" means loaded in temporary memory or permanent storage on the computer.


You may not sell, rent, lease or sublicense the Software, without the explicit written consent of nextEDGE Technology K.K..

The Software is protected by copyright laws and international treaties. 

All intellectual property rights such as but not limited to patents, trademarks, copyrights or trade secret rights related to the Software are the property of and remains vested in nextEDGE Technology K.K./its suppliers.

You shall not modify, translate, reverse engineer, decompile or disassemble the Software or any part thereof or otherwise attempt to derive source code or create derivative works therefrom.

You are not allowed to remove, alter or destroy any proprietary, trademark or copyright markings or notices placed upon or contained with the Software.


The Software may be subject to export or import regulations, and the user agrees to comply strictly with all such laws and regulations. The user agrees not to export or re-export the Software or any part thereof or information pertaining thereto to any country for which a U.S. government agency requires an export license or other governmental approval without first obtaining such license or approval.

Privacy statement: nextEDGE Technology K.K. strives to protect the security and privacy of the users of its products, and will strictly protect the security of the users’ personal information, within the confines of the nextEDGE domain. 

Any variation to the terms of this Agreement shall only be valid if made in writing by nextEDGE Technology K.K..

STEP2 INSTALL

Run aeroTAP9_setup.exe to install aeroTAP evo.

For information on installation, please refer to the Installation and Updates section of the User Guide.

STEP3 Check Quick Guide

Before getting started with aeroTAP evo, please refer to the Quick Setup Guide and the Getting Started section of the User Guide.

STEP4 Start!

Run aeroTAP evo from desktop shortcut.

STEP5 User and Camera Registration

Please register as a user and register your aeroTAP 3D USB Camera.

Important: You can register your camera through [User Registration], or by clicking the [Register Device] button on the [About] tab in aeroTAP evo.

The serial number can be found on the product package or on the aeroTAP evo [About] screen (SN: xxxxxxxxx).

Upgrade to aeroTAP evo Professional version

Important: To upgrade a camera that does not already have a Professional Edition license, you must obtain (purchase) and activate an aeroTAP 3D USB Camera License Key.

Note: If you purchased the Professional Edition, the aeroTAP 3D USB Camera License Key has already been applied at the factory before shipment. No additional activation or licensing procedure is required.

How to Apply: To obtain a Professional License, please contact your reseller or the aeroTAP Support Team.

Activating the Professional License

Launch aeroTAP Evo.
Open the About dialog and click Apply License.
Follow the on-screen instructions to complete the license activation.

Important: An Internet connection is required to activate the license.

After activation, restart aeroTAP Evo. The application will then start in Professional Edition mode.

aeroTAP evo Update

Upgrade Existing aeroTAP Installations

If you are already using aeroTAP, please use the Update Pack to upgrade your installation.

The Update Pack allows you to upgrade to the latest version while preserving your existing settings and configuration.

Launch aero7UpdatePack.exe and follow the on-screen instructions to complete the update.

Important: Please close aeroTAP before running the update installer.

Creating an aeroTAP evo Bootable USB Drive

aeroTAP evo can be stored and run directly from a USB flash drive without being installed on the PC.

This allows you to use aeroTAP evo in environments where software installation on the PC is not permitted or possible.
